What if I use
an e-mail spam filter?
If you use e-mail spam filters, add:
enews-list-request@enews-gotransit.com
to your address book to ensure
that your E-News alerts don't end up in your junk mail or bulk mail folder. If
you require assistance, please contact your e-mail service provider.
Can messages be sent
to my cellular phone using text messaging?
E-News alerts sent to cellular phones, PDAs, or pagers that are capable of
receiving text messages will automatically convert to text message format. To
receive E-News alerts as text messages, use the text message e-mail address
provided by your cellular phone, PDA, or pager carrier when you sign up for
E-News. Please refer to your carrier to confirm that your device is authorized
to receive text messages, and for instructions.
What type of
information will I receive about service delays?
E-News alerts will be sent when there are major service delays. Major delays
include train and bus delays over thirty minutes, cancelled
trains or buses, major service disruptions, emergencies, and suspension of
service.
