UNION STATION BUS TERMINAL

CONSTRUCTION IS UNDERWAY ON THE NEW STATION

UNION STATION BUS TERMINAL

Construction has started on a new larger Union Station Bus Terminal (USBT) that will provide GO Bus customers with more efficient service and improved access to downtown amenities and transit. The new terminal will be built at 81 Bay Street, an area south of the rail corridor that’s currently a parking lot, and is part of Ivanhoé Cambridge’s larger commercial development. This location provides better access to the Gardiner Expressway and Lake Shore Boulevard, making it easier for customers to get to their destinations.

The new bus terminal will better connect customers to GO Transit, the TTC, VIA Rail, UP Express and the proposed future high speed rail connection to destinations in southern Ontario.

GO Bus service will continue to run normally out of the current bus terminal until the new station is complete in 2020. We will let customers know of any changes to their commutes well in advance.

This page will continually be updated with details about the new station, renderings, progress photos and status updates. It’s just one of the ways we’ll keep you in the know about construction at Union Station.
