May 17, 2011 – Strachan Avenue Overpass Update Meeting

On May 17, we hosted the Strachan Overpass Update meeting to brief the community on the project progress and what to expect as major construction on the overpass starts this summer. We provided an overview of the GTS Project, an update on the final design of the Strachan Avenue Overpass and preliminary information about how the construction will take place (construction staging), including information on the temporary realignment of Strachan Avenue. This was followed by a workshop session to review construction staging and to address any questions or concerns from community members. These discussions also provided us with the opportunity to get feedback from attendees about pedestrian and traffic management and other construction impacts. Thank you to everyone who braved the rain to attend the meeting.
