October 18, 2011 – Weston Station Master Plan Public Workshop
On October 18, more than 70 Weston community members attended the first meeting of the Weston Station Master Plan public workshop. This meeting was the first in a series
of three to provide input into the design of the relocated Weston GO Station.
Concepts for the station design were shared and discussed and the attendees provided interesting and insightful feedback on what was important to consider in the station design. This input will be consolidated and
included in the concepts that will be presented to the community in the early 2012. Stay tuned for future meeting dates.
There will also be an opportunity in the new year to provide input on the long-term vision for the station and the surrounding area including the types
of development opportunities that may be possible.
