January 26, 2012 – West Toronto Diamond Public Meeting

Thank you to everyone who attended the West Toronto Diamond Grade Separation public meeting on January 26. We had 21 people attend our construction update meeting and ask questions about the project and upcoming work. It was an opportunity to look back at the work done so far and what still needs to be done to complete the two grade separations and lowered corridor. We also looked ahead to the coming months and talked about what residents can expect to see as we prepare to start excavating the corridor this summer. Most importantly, it was an opportunity to get feedback from residents about traffic management and other construction impacts that will help us plan ahead and mitigate as best as we can. Thank you again for helping us complete this project as quickly and safely as we can.
