February 16, 2012 – Weston Area Public Meeting
Over 30 Weston residents attended the Weston Community meeting where updates
were provided on the Weston Tunnel, Lawrence Avenue Bridge, Denison Road
Underpass and the Humber River and Weston Road Bridges
Residents and interested community members came out to learn how construction in
the community has progressed so far and were advised of upcoming work and road
closures. Attendees asked great questions and provided insightful comments about
construction activities to date.
Along with the residents, present also were GO Transit’s GTS Project
Coordinators, contractors, members of the City of Toronto traffic and planning
divisions, and Councillor Nunziata, MPP Albanese, and MP Sullivan.
Thank you to everyone who came out to learn how we are progressing in Weston.
