October 29, 2011 – Weston Farmers' Market
On Saturday, October 29, the representatives from the GO Transit Weston
Community Office attended the final Weston Farmers' Market of 2011. The event
was the busiest Farmers' Market of the season coinciding with the Best of Weston
festival and a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Peter's Barbershop and a
visit of the Stanley Cup to Weston. The GO Transit team spoke with over 140
residents and shoppers to let them know about work starting shortly on the
Weston Tunnel north of Church Street and the installation of pedestrian tunnels
at the future Weston GO Station site that took place over the weekend.
