PART-TIME PLANT
SERVICEPERSON II
Start
Rate $15.68 per hour
$15.68 to $20.12 per hour (ATU Bargaining Unit) |

Working
with an energetic, talented and committed team in the Station Operations
East Office, you will provide basic janitorial services, maintenance and
minor repairs of assigned GO Transit buildings, grounds and facilities.
This position will involve working Monday to Friday (1730-2230 hours), with
Saturday and Sunday as off days. |

| Qualifications:
Level of
reading, writing and learning skills normally attained through completion of
Grade 10 education. Minimum 6 months’ experience in building and janitorial
servicing including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals, tools and
equipment including walk-behind equipment such as floor polishers, scrubbers
and pressure washers., or must demonstrate the ability to easily attain an
equivalent level of experience in a relatively short period of time and
little training. Must have knowledge of pertinent health and safety
regulations. Must be able to obtain and maintain First Aid Certification,
as well as successfully complete environmental, safety, and any other
training required by corporate policy. Must have the ability to deal with
the public in a courteous manner. |
