PART-TIME PLANT
SERVICEPERSON I
Start Rate $16.96 per hour
$16.96 to $21.61 per hour (ATU

Working
with an energetic, talented and committed team, you will be required to
provide basic and specialized janitorial services, maintenance and minor
repairs for GO Transit buildings, grounds and facilities. This position
involves working Saturday & Sunday (0600-1400 hours), with Monday to Friday
as off days. |

| Qualifications:
Level of reading, writing
and learning skills normally attained through completion of high school or
equivalent. Minimum one year of driving experience with a class “G”
driver’s licence including a minimum 9 months’ experience in building and
janitorial servicing involving the safe handling of cleaning chemicals,
tools and equipment including floor polishers, driveable scrubbers and high
pressure washers. Must have a valid Ontario class “G” licence and must meet
corporate standard for a good driving record. Must be able to obtain a GO
Transit Equipment Operator's permit. Must be able to obtain and maintain
First Aid Certification. Must successfully complete Forklift and Propane
Training, as well as environmental, safety and any other training required
by corporate policy. Must have the ability to deal with the public in a
courteous manner. |
