NETWORK ENGINEERING SPECIALIST

Working
with an energetic, talented and committed team in the Information Technology
Office, you will be required to design, test, implement, maintain and
troubleshoot effective local or wide area network components, associated
servers, workstations and software to meet client needs. This position is
responsible for providing expert level of design and implementation services
for infrastructure hardware, including servers, communications equipment,
cabling, peripheral devices within our enterprise network; installing and
supporting network operating systems, system software or related services,
security and backup programs, virus protection, disaster recovery measures
and access controls. |

| Qualifications:
Diploma in computer
science/engineering, with particular emphasis on Network Technology and
Microsoft MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification, or a
combination of education and experience deemed equivalent. Working
knowledge of Cisco networking, SUN UNIX administration, Network Security,
and SAN Storage Systems. Minimum 5 years’ experience in inter-networking
design and implementation of server and desktop environments using Windows
and UNIX operating systems, Cisco networking, TCP/IP, Microsoft Exchange,
SQL, IIS, Enterprise Backup solutions, Anti-virus and anti-spam solutions,
Enterprise Network Management tools, as well as familiarity with ITIL and
PMP methodologies. Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal,
documentation and communications skills. |
