Engineering Services for a Feasibility Study, Design, Supervision and Administration Services for a Multi-Level Parking Structure at the Cooksville GO Station

Metrolinx is accepting Requests to Qualify and Quote (RQQ) for the Provision of Engineering Services for an Accessibility Assessment Report; a Feasibility Study, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design and Preparation of Tender Documents, Construction Supervision, Field Administration and Contract Administration for a Multi-Level Parking Structure at the Cooksville GO Station.

A Mandatory Site/Information Meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2009 at GO Transit’s Cooksville GO Station, 3210 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, Ontario (Hillcrest Ave. @ Hurontario Street).  Consultants are requested to meet in front of the station building entrance.

Failure of Consultant’s to be present and registered from the time the meeting is called to order, for the entire meeting, until the meeting is adjourned will result in disqualification from bidding.

Request to Qualify and Quote Documents are available (and ready for pick-up) weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from Metrolinx’s Procurement and Contract Services Office only at the address below.  Request documents are available only in hard copy format.  Request documents must be picked up in person and shall only be issued to persons who provide all of the following: company name, address, telephone and fax numbers and contact name and who reference the above Request number and or project description.

Sealed Requests to Qualify and Quote will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the same Procurement and Contract Services Office.

Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Requests to Qualify and Quote at its sole discretion.

Only Consultants who possess the following experience and qualifications will be considered for award of this Contract:

• Experience in above-ground multi-level parking structures; and
• Experience in multidiscipline projects including civil, structural, architectural, electrical and mechanical elements.
