Kipling Station

GO bus service is coming!

  Kipling Station

(Preliminary rendering and design plans are subject to change)

We’re planning a new bus station with new GO bus service to serve you better. Right now you can take the GO train at Kipling, but we want to offer bus service to better connect you to the rest of the GTHA. While we’re at it, we’ll be renovating the existing station to make it more convenient and comfortable to take the train, then offering more connections to TTC and MiWay bus service.

We are making big improvements to the station. Early plans are underway. Next we’ll move into design. Our early plans include:

  • A new bus terminal with four bus bays for GO buses and ten bays for MiWay buses.
  • A pedestrian bridge over the train tracks - complete with elevators - to connect the new bus terminal building to the GO train platform
  • Renovations to the existing GO train station building
  • New underground tunnels to make it easier for you to walk between the new GO bus terminal and the existing TTC station
  • Repairing the existing tunnels
  • Updating the train platform with a new accessible boarding area
  • A new paid TTC parking lot on the south side of the station
  • Improved car, bicycle and pedestrian access to the station including a new signalized intersection at Acorn Ave.

More information about planned improvements along the Milton corridor including the delivery of GO Regional Express Rail can be found here.

*Note: GO Transit/ Metrolinx improvements do not include improvements to the existing TTC subway station or bus terminal.

*Note: Bus routes are still being finalized and will be announced closer to the opening of the station.
