Thank you for your patience as we improve your Pickering GO Station.

The Project

The Pickering pedestrian bridge opened to the public on February 27, 2012. The 250-metre fully enclosed structure provides GO commuters and Pickering residents with safe and convenient access over Highway 401 to Pickering’s downtown core. Two new elevators that connect the bridge directly with the platforms opened on May 20, 2016.

Starting on July 3, 2017, areas near the south and north stairs to the bridge may be closed off as we complete the preliminary work needed to install the remainder of the Kalzip cladding around the bridge. We will complete this work over the next few months. You will be able to access the stairs and elevators during that time.

DRT eastbound 223 bus will also be relocated from platform 4 to platform 11 on the south side of the bus loop.

A period of off-site work will follow as we prepare the Kalzip for installation.

We’ll communicate any other changes to your usual routine.
