KIDS RIDE FREE THIS FAMILY DAY WEEKEND

Make memories, save money, and take your kids on a journey to the fun.

Kids 12 and under travel for free on our trains, buses and on UP Express this Family Day long weekend from the start of service on Saturday, February 17 to the end of service on Monday, February 19. The possibilities for fun are endless.

Know before you GO! Just a few things to keep in mind before you travel:

  • Children do not require a ticket to travel. Click here for adult fare information.
  • If a child transfers from a local transit service onto GO, they will not be eligible for the co-fare discount. This doesn’t apply to TTC, as children 12 and under always travel for free.
  • If you plan on bringing a large group of kids, please call us at 1-888-GET-ON-GO (438-6646) in advance so we can help accommodate your group.

THINGS TO DO IN THE CITY

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada

Take your family on an underwater adventure. The Aquarium features North America’s longest underwater viewing tunnel with more than 5.7 million litres of water and over 100 interactive opportunities. Kids can get up close and personal with several touch exhibits featuring horseshoe crabs, sharks, scarlet cleaner shrimp, and stingrays. Union Station is just steps away from the underwater action.

ROM

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is Canada’s largest museum of world cultures and natural history. From now until March 31, 2018, save 20% off regular admission rates at the Royal Ontario Museum. Just show your PRESTO Card or GO fare at the ROM admissions desk when you arrive. Getting there is an easy connection to the TTC (Museum Station). PRESTO cardholders save $1.50 on their fare.

Family Fun Fest

Over 30,000 square feet at Downsview Park is being turned into a large INDOOR FUN Zone just for Family Day weekend! Family Fun Fest features an indoor amusement park with over 30 attractions including Kiddie Rides, Jumping Castles, Giant Slides, Interactive Games, Fun Foods, Arcade and Carnival Games. Strolling entertainers also make appearances daily. Downsview Park GO Station is just steps away from all the fun!

Kids Fest Toronto

Kids Fest Toronto is designed to make your kids bounce, laugh, run and play all indoors at the International Centre in Mississauga . From the largest inflatables, exotic animal shows, mad science experiments and so much more. Head to Malton GO Station walking distance to all the fun!
