On Sunday, November 15, GO Transit will run additional Lakeshore train service for the 105th Annual Santa Claus Parade. The official Santa Claus parade begins at 12:30 p.m., but early revellers can start their day off at the Parade Breakfast at Yonge Dundas Square from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair will also be open on Sunday, November 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The additional Lakeshore trains, as well as many regularly scheduled trips will make stops at Exhibition station, where passengers can easily walk over to the Fair.

To make your outings easier, GO also offers Group Passes for up to five people to ride for the cost of two adults. The Group Pass accommodates a maximum of two adults and a minimum of one.

Please see the special schedules for Sunday, November 15.

GO Transit honours veterans with free travel on Remembrance Day

On Wednesday, November 11, GO Transit will pay tribute to the many men and women who have served to protect Canada by offering war veterans and a companion free, all-day travel on GO.

Veterans are asked to identify themselves by wearing their medals, beret, blazer, uniform, or other similar belongings while travelling. Immediate family members of deceased veterans may also ride for free that day if carrying something to identify their relations to the late veteran, such as service papers or an identification card.

GO and CP24

You can now get GO service updates for your commute to the office and home broadcast live only on CP24 television, with simulcast on CP24 1050 radio. Our updates are done by GO Transit's own on-air presenters, Diane Bedard, Erica Hawkshaw, and Karen Warner. They air on weekdays (except holidays) during CP24's morning news, weather, and traffic show from 5:30 to 9:30 a.m., and during the evening show between 3 and 7 p.m. "We're excited about this new venture," says Gary McNeil, GO's Managing Director. "GO Transit and CP24, two of the Toronto area's most recognizable brands, are now partners in bringing commuter information to the GTA." Tune in, and stay tuned! Please also read the news release about this partnership.
