Online payments for GO parking tickets can be made by Visa or MasterCard.

Transactions may take up to two business days to be processed. Please

Payment by mail (make sure you include
your Parking Infraction Notice)
When paying by mail,
write the number of the Parking Infraction Notice on the front of your
cheque or money order and make it payable to GO Transit. Include the Parking
Infraction Notice with payment. Dishonoured cheques
may be subject to an administrative charge.

Defaulted fines
Any Parking Infraction
Notices that are at the enforcement stage (plate denial) can only be paid at
the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and through the Service Ontario kiosks by
selecting the PAY FINES TO RENEW STICKER option.
Unpaid fines
(including
unpaid parking fines) filed with the Ministry of Transportation are
payable to the Minister of Finance (Ontario). Payments can be made to the
provincial government by mail, at a Service Ontario kiosk, or at any Ministry
of Transportation office.
Parking Infraction
Notices issued by GO Transit that are at the conviction stage, but not
enforcement (plate denial), can only be paid at an Ontario Court of Justice,
Provincial Offences Office location. Please refer to your notice of fine and
due date for payment information, or make payment at the court location
nearest you.

Request for trial
If you wish to contest
the Parking Infraction Notice and request a trial, you must fill in the
required information on the reverse of the notice, SIGN IT, and mail it
to:

Your trial notice will be mailed to you by the Ontario Court of Justice in
the jurisdiction where the offence occurred.

Request for administrative
review
Within 15 days of the
date when a Parking Infraction Notice and/or a Notice of Impending
Conviction is issued, you may request administrative review of the Parking
Infraction Notice. Upon reviewing your situation, GO Transit may vary,
modify, adjust, amend or withdraw the parking infraction. If the matter is
unresolved through this process, you may choose to pay the set fine or
request a trial.

Notice of impending
conviction
A Notice of Impending
Conviction will be mailed to the owner/operator of the vehicle plate if
payment has not been received within 15 days of the date of infraction, or a
request for trial has not been made. The owner or operator must pay the set
fine as indicated on the notice or request a trial by the due date, or a
conviction will be registered without further notice and the defendant will
be liable for additional court costs.

Plate denial
Please be advised that
once a court conviction has been recorded against a Parking Infraction
Notice, a Notice of Fine and Due Date will be issued to the registered owner
with a due date by which to respond. If action is not taken in the form of
payment, appeal or application
re-opening by the due
date specified, the matter will be forwarded to the Ministry of
Transportation and a $20
enforcement fee will be added to the existing fine and cost amount. The fine
amount must be paid to the Ministry of Transportation upon renewal in order
to receive your plate sticker for the following year or to purchase new
plates.
