Most GO stations have customer parking. To find out more about parking options, visit our station list page.

We do not charge for parking, although you can rent a reserved parking space at most stations. Free parking is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers can park in any space for a maximum of 48 hours (this also applies to reserved spaces; only authorized users may park in reserved spaces).

Your safety is important to us. Using GO parking lots in a safe and courteous manner will help make your experience on the GO easier. The following information will tell you more about reserved parking, how to practice safe and courteous parking and parking fines.

Reserved parking information

GO Transit offers reserved parking in many of our parking lots for a monthly fee. Spaces are offered at all GO Stations including Newmarket Bus Terminal, with the exception of the following locations:
Allandale Waterfront, Bloor, Centennial, Danforth, Exhibition, Hamilton, Kennedy, Kipling, Kitchener, Union and York University.

No new applications are being accepted for Weston GO Station as well as Maple and King City rail at this time as a result of a large waiting list.

The cost to rent a reserved parking space is $98 per month, including all taxes for a minimum six-month term.

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or pre-authorized debit. After the first six months, the reserved parking agreement will automatically renew on a month to month basis.

Application process

A Reserved Parking Application can be completed and submitted online.

Applications must be received no later than the 15th of the month before you want to start your reserved parking agreement. Subject to availability, agreements begin on the first day of the month.

Once your application has been processed, the reserved parking office will send you a confirmation email stating your assigned reserved parking space number. We'll install a sign with your assigned number at your reserved parking space.

Safe and courteous parking at GO stations

We understand that finding a parking spot at your GO station can sometimes be a challenge.

We’re working to expand parking capacity at stations across our system. Since 2003, we’ve added more than 10,000 new parking spaces, and we are continually introducing more spaces and carpool lots. We are also building multi-level parking structures to offer even more spaces where no vacant land is available for new parking lots.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind when parking at your station:

  • Arrive early for your train, and you may find that more spaces are still available.
  • Try getting to your station a different way, such as taking local transit, walking, cycling, getting a ride, or carpooling. See our website’s Leave your car at home page for more tips.
  • Parking in emergency access routes is dangerous and illegal, and prevents emergency personnel from getting to where they’re needed quickly. If you park in this area, your car may be ticketed and towed.
  • Please leave accessible parking spaces free for those with permits and reserved spaces free for those who have rented them. If you park in one of these spaces or in the kiss and ride area, or if you take up more than one parking spot, your car may be ticketed and towed.
  • Reserved spots ensure that you will always get a parking space, and that it will be the same one each day. If you park in this area, your car may be ticketed and towed. Please see above for more info on GO’s reserved parking program.
