KEEPING YOU MOVING

The Pan Am and Parapan Am Games will attract over 250,000 visitors and athletes to the GTHA and many of them will be using transit to move around.

To help you get where you need to be, we've added 367 train trips and 188 bus trips over the course of the Games!

We've got your commute covered!

COMMUTING DURING THE GAMES

GIVE YOURSELF A LITTLE EXTRA TIME

Please give yourself extra time – trains and buses will be busier than usual as will stations, parking lots, and customer service counters. A little bit of patience goes a long way as many of our visitors are using GO for the first time.

LEAVE THE CAR AT HOME

Instead of driving to the GO station, consider other ways of getting there like walking, cycling, carpooling or taking local transit. Perhaps shifting to a different commute time during the Games will work for you. Visit Smart Commute for more tips

PLAN YOUR ROUTE

Triplinx, the official transit trip planner for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, can help you plan your route for easy travel across the region

FIND A FRIENDLY FACE

Throughout the Games, we'll have ambassadors in Union Station and other GO locations near major event venues to provide information and assistance. These locations will also have staffed TORONTO 2015 Games information booths and special wayfinding signs to help you get where you want to be!

THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING

We're excited to welcome all the new riders to GO. We know noise levels on trains and buses may be louder than usual, and we thank our regular riders for being patient and assisting new riders if possible. Join us in welcoming the world and helping them enjoy their visit!

With more people travelling with us, boarding times may be a bit longer than usual and while there will be increased traffic and congestion in the region during the Games, we will do our best to stay on schedule.
