Cost
As of August 1, 2009, the cost to rent a parking space is $70.00
(including taxes) per month, for a minimum six-month term. Payment
can be made annually, semi-annually, or monthly by Visa, MasterCard,
or American Express or pre-authorized debit. After the first six
months, your reserved parking agreement will automatically renew on
a month-to-month basis.
Application process
Download and print the application form (pdf).
Forms can also be picked up at the Customer Service Centre in
Union Station or at any GO Station.
Drop off your completed application at the Customer Service
Centre or at your station.
Applications must be received at Union Station no later than the
15th of the month before the month you want to start your reserved
parking agreement. Subject to availability, agreements begin the
first of the month.
Once your application has been processed, our reserved parking
office will mail you a confirmation letter stating your assigned
parking space number. We’ll install a sign with your assigned number
at your reserved space.
If your reserved space is occupied when you arrive
Although it seldom occurs, there may be an occasion when you
arrive at the station to find an unauthorized vehicle parked in your
spot. If that happens, simply park in the kiss & ride area without
blocking the flow of traffic. Advise the station attendant or call
Transit Safety at 905.803.0642 after 9 a.m. and let them know
your name, your station, your reserved space number, and the license
plate number of your car parked in the kiss & ride. Under normal
circumstances, a transit safety officer will be dispatched to
ticket the illegally parked car before 3 p.m. that day.
Early cancellation of a reserved space
There is a $100 early termination fee if you decide to cancel
your reserved space before the end of the six-month term, and a
six-month waiting period before you may rent a reserved spot again.
If you receive a GO Transit parking ticket, you have the option
of dealing directly with us rather than going through the courts.

(plate denial) can only be paid at the Ontario Ministry of
Transportation and through the Service Ontario kiosks by selecting
the PAY FINES TO RENEW STICKER option.
Unpaid fines (including unpaid parking fines) filed with the
Ministry of Transportation are payable to the Minister of Finance
(Ontario). Payments can be made to the provincial government by
mail, at a Service Ontario kiosk, or at any Ministry of
Transportation office.
Parking Infraction Notices issued by GO Transit that are at the
conviction stage, but not enforcement (plate denial), can only be
paid at an Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Offences Office
location. Please refer to your notice of fine and due date for
payment information, or make payment at the court location nearest
you.

Request for administrative review
Within 15 days of the date when a Parking Infraction Notice
and/or a Notice of Impending Conviction is issued, you may request
administrative review of the Parking Infraction Notice. Upon
reviewing your situation, GO Transit may vary, modify, adjust, amend
or withdraw the parking infraction. If the matter is unresolved
through this process, you may choose to pay the set fine or request
a trial.

Notice of impending conviction
A Notice of Impending Conviction will be mailed to the
owner/operator of the vehicle plate if payment has not been received
within 15 days of the date of infraction, or a request for trial has
not been made. The owner or operator must pay the set fine as
indicated on the notice or request a trial by the due date, or a
conviction will be registered without further notice and the
defendant will be liable for additional court costs.
Plate denial
Please be advised that once a court conviction has been recorded
against a Parking Infraction Notice, a Notice of Fine and Due Date
will be issued to the registered owner with a due date by which to
respond. If action is not taken in the form of payment, appeal or
application re-opening by the due date specified, the matter will be
forwarded to the Ministry of Transportation and a $20 enforcement
fee will be added to the existing fine and cost amount. The fine
amount must be paid to the Ministry of Transportation upon renewal
in order to receive your plate sticker for the following year or to
purchase new plates.
