SCHEDULE CHANGES

Starting June 24, GO Transit will introduce changes to a number of train and bus trips.

There will be new weekday midday and evening train trips on the Stouffville line, new Route 70 bus trips to meet the new train trips, as well as reductions to Route 71 bus trips. Click here for more.

We’re making it easier to get to Niagara Falls this summer with more bus service on Route 12, hourly weekend express service, and weekday express service every other hour.

On the Richmond Hill line, there will be some time changes for better schedule reliability.

There will also be more bus trips on some routes to meet growing ridership demand, and other changes to select GO Bus service.

STOUFFVILLE LINE

RICHMOND HILL LINE

Northbound departures at Oriole, Old Cummer and Langstaff GO will be up to three minutes later. All other times along the route remain the same.

Be sure to check the schedule to see if your usual trip is affected.

GO BUS SERVICE

Route 12B (Niagara Falls/Burlington GO):

  • hourly weekend express summer service, runs from June 24 through September 4.
  • weekday express service every other hour, runs from June 26 through September 1.

Route 15 (Brantford/Burlington):

  • We are making schedule adjustments to some trips for improved reliability and to better reflect actual travel times, with some earlier departures.

Route 16 (Hamilton/Toronto Express):

  • One new weekday eastbound trip will depart Hamilton GO at 4:15 a.m. and arrive at Union at 5:10 a.m.
  • One new weekday westbound trip will depart Union at 5:45 a.m. and arrive at Hamilton GO at 6:40 a.m.
  • The schedule for weekday eastbound morning trips adjusted to depart every 20 minutes:
    • 5:10 a.m. trip will now depart 10 minutes earlier at 5 a.m.
    • 5:25 a.m. trip will now depart five minutes earlier at 5:20 a.m.
    • 5:55 a.m. trip is discontinued
    • 6:05 a.m. trip will now depart five minutes earlier at 6 a.m.
    • 6:35 a.m. trip will now depart five minute later at 6:40 a.m.
    • 6:50 a.m. trip is discontinued
    • 7:05 a.m. trip will now depart five minutes earlier at 7 a.m.
  • We are making schedule adjustments to some trips for improved reliability and to better reflect actual travel times, with some earlier departures.

Route 18 (Lakeshore West):

  • The 5:40 a.m. weekday westbound trip will depart ten minutes earlier at 5:30 a.m. The connecting Route 15 (Brantford) trip will also be adjusted.
  • All 18E trips will now serve the newly completed West Harbour GO Station Bus Loop. Buses will no longer serve the temporary street stop next to the station.
  • We are making schedule adjustments to some trips for improved reliability and to better reflect actual travel times, with some earlier departures.

Routes 19, 21 and 27:

  • We are making schedule adjustments to some trips for improved reliability and to better reflect actual travel times, with some earlier departures.

Route 32 (Brampton Trinity Common/North York)

  • The 7:40 a.m. trip from Bramalea GO will now begin at Trinity Common Mall at 7:15 a.m., also stopping at Williams Pkwy. at 7:23 a.m.
  • We are making schedule adjustments to some trips for improved reliability and to better reflect actual travel times, with some earlier departures.

Route 33 (York Mills/University of Guelph):

  • Buses will now serve a new stop at Hwy. 401 and Keele St.

Route 40 (Hamilton/Richmond Hill):

  • We are making schedule adjustments to some trips for improved reliability and to better reflect actual travel times, with some earlier departures.

Route 51 (Pickering/York University):

  • Buses will now stop on Military Trail north of Ellesmere Rd. instead of at Morningside Ave. and Ellesmere Rd.

Route 63 (King City/Toronto):

  • We are making schedule adjustments to some trips for improved reliability and to better reflect actual travel times, with some earlier departures.

Route 65 (Newmarket/Toronto):

  • The 1:40 p.m. trip will now end at Newmarket GO Bus Terminal and not continue to East Gwillimbury GO. Customers can take other Route 65 buses or YRT service in the area.

Route 70 (Uxbridge/Unionville):

  • 17 new weekday trips to connect with the new midday and evening train trips.
  • With the introduction of the midday and evening Stouffville train service, some trips on this route will be replaced with the new extended trains.

Route 71 (Uxbridge/Union):

  • With the introduction of the midday and evening Stouffville train service, most trips on this route will be replaced with the train service and new Route 70 bus trips.
  • Customers travelling to or from Union Station will switch between the train and bus at Unionville GO or Lincolnville GO.

Routes 90, 92, 93 and 96:

  • We are making schedule adjustments to some trips for improved reliability and to better reflect actual travel times, with some earlier departures.

LAKESHORE WEST SERVICE REDUCTIONS JULY 7 TO 9

Lakeshore West GO Train service will be reduced from every 30 minutes to hourly the evening of Friday, July 7 through Sunday, July 9 so that we can do maintenance work on the Revus Ave. railway crossing near Port Credit GO Station

Friday, July 7:

  • Eastbound service will be hourly starting with the 8:01 p.m. departure from Aldershot. Trips that usually depart Aldershot at 8:31 p.m., 9:31 p.m., and 10:31 p.m. will be cancelled.
  • Westbound service will be hourly starting with the 7:43 p.m. departure from Union. Trips that usually depart Union at 8:13 p.m., 9:13 p.m., 10:13 p.m., and 11:13 p.m. will be cancelled.

Saturday, July 8 through Sunday, July 9:

  • East and westbound service will be hourly all day.
  • Eastbound trips that usually depart Aldershot at 31 minutes past the hour will be cancelled.
  • Westbound trips that usually depart Union at 13 minutes past the hour will be cancelled.
  • To provide service to the Blue Jays games, the westbound 10:31 a.m. trip from Aldershot will run as usual.

Connecting GO Bus Route 18 (Hamilton/Aldershot) and local transit routes will run as usual.

Niagara seasonal weekend train service will run as usual.

Extra Lakeshore trains after the game

This June we’ll have extra trains on the Lakeshore line to get you home more comfortably after the game.

There will be extra homebound Lakeshore West trains following the Blue Jays games on June 2-4, 16-18, 27 and 30, and following the TFC game and U2 concert on June 23.

There will be an extra homebound Lakeshore East train following the U2 concert on June 23, and following the Blue Jays game on June 27.

These trips will not appear in GO schedules as departure times will depend on when the events end and passenger volumes. Be sure to check the departure board and listen for announcements.

During this time, you may experience up to 10 minutes of additional travel time due to large crowds following special events at Union Station and Exhibition GO.
