EXTRA LAKESHORE TRAINS AFTER SPECIAL EVENTS

This November we’ll have extra trains on the Lakeshore line to get you home more comfortably after special events.

There will be an extra homebound Lakeshore West train following the TFC and Raptors game on November 29.

There will be an extra homebound Lakeshore East train following the TFC and Raptors game on November 29.

These trips will not appear in GO schedules as departure times will depend on when the events end and passenger volumes. Be sure to check the departure board and listen for announcements.

During this time, you may experience up to 10 minutes of additional travel time due to large crowds following special events at Union Station and Exhibition GO.

FALL WEEKEND SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS

There will be changes to Barrie, Lakeshore East and West train service on some weekends this fall, so we can do track and station work to provide reliable and increased service in the future. Plans and dates are subject to change so be sure to check back here for any updates before you travel.

BARRIE

GO buses will replace trains between Rutherford and Allandale Waterfront these weekends:

  • December 9 and 10
  • December 16 and 17

Buses will replace trains all along the Barrie Corridor for travel to and from Union Station. Customers traveling from Rutherford, Maple or King City northbound to locations between Aurora and Barrie must either go to Union Station or Aurora GO to board one of our buses. There will be no bus service at York University Station. If you are a York University customer, you can use Rutherford GO to the north, or the Yorkdale Bus Terminal (located at the Yorkdale Mall) to the south. To find the best route, visit triplinx.ca.

Check the schedule here.

  • The westbound 7:13 p.m., 8:13 p.m., 9:13 p.m., 10:13 p.m. and 11:13 p.m. trips from Union will end at Appleby.
