Service Changes Starting April 8

Starting April 8, GO Transit will introduce changes to a number of train and bus trips.

There will be new weekday late-evening train trips on the Lakeshore East and West lines, new bus service to Niagara College, and more trips on some bus routes to meet growing ridership demand.

For improved schedule reliability, there will be minor adjustments on the 7:36 a.m. weekday westbound Lakeshore East trip from Pickering and for departures from Union Station on some weekend Barrie line trains.

Buses which travel eastbound on the Gardiner Expressway will have later arrivals at Union due to construction on the York/Bay/Yonge St. exit ramp.

There will be seasonal reductions on some school routes and other changes to select GO Bus service.

LAKESHORE WEST LINE

New eastbound weekday trip will depart Aldershot GO at 10:31 p.m., making all stops to Union Station and arriving at 11:41 p.m.

New trips on GO Bus Routes 15 and 18 will connect to the new train trip.

Be sure to check the schedule to see if your trip is affected.

LAKESHORE EAST LINE

New eastbound weekday trip will depart Union at 11:43 p.m., making all stops to Oshawa and arriving at 12:41 a.m.

A new trip on GO Bus Route 90 will connect to the new train trip.

The schedules for the weekday westbound 7:36 a.m. trip from Pickering will be adjusted by one to three minutes later at intermediate stops for improved reliability and to better reflect actual travel times. Times for Pickering and Union remain the same.

Be sure to check the schedule to see if your trip is affected.

BARRIE LINE

Weekend 12:43 p.m., 1:13 p.m. and 5:43 p.m. northbound trips will now depart Union Station two minutes earlier, at 12:41 p.m., 1:11 p.m., and 5:41 p.m. to help ensure on-time departures at Union. All other times along the route remain the same.

Be sure to check the schedule to see if your trip is affected.
