LAKESHORE WEST SERVICE REDUCTIONS MAY 20 TO 23
Due to road and track work being done by the Town of Oakville on Fourth Line near Speers Road,
Lakeshore West GO Train service will be reduced from every 30 minutes to hourly between Oakville
and Aldershot the evening of May 20, and all day May 21 through 23.
Friday, May 20:
- Eastbound trips that usually depart Aldershot at 8:31 p.m. and 9:31 p.m.
will be cancelled between Aldershot and Oakville.
- Westbound trips that depart Union Station at 7:13 p.m., 8:13 p.m., 9:13 p.m.,
10:13 p.m. and 11:13 p.m. will end at Oakville.
Saturday, May 21, through Monday, May 23:
- Eastbound trips that usually depart Aldershot at 31 minutes past the hour will be
cancelled between Aldershot and Oakville.
- Westbound trips that depart Union Station at 13 minutes past the hour will end at Oakville.
Connecting GO Buses and local transit routes will operate as usual.
Niagara Victoria Day Long Weekend train service will not be affected as it operates on a different track.
LAKESHORE EAST SERVICE REDUCTIONS MAY 21 TO 23
Train service on the entire Lakeshore East line will be reduced from every
30 minutes to every hour the long weekend of May 21 - 23, 2016 as we continue
to upgrade Guildwood GO Station to make it more convenient for customers to
access the station and GO services:
- Eastbound trains will depart Union Station only at 13 minutes past each hour
and all trains that usually depart Union Station at 43 minutes past each hour will be cancelled.
- Westbound trains will depart Oshawa station only at 41 minutes past each hour and all trains
that usually depart Oshawa station at 11 minutes past each hour will be cancelled.

Extra Lakeshore Trains for Major Downtown Events
This May we’ll have extra trains on the Lakeshore line to get you home more comfortably after major downtown events. There will be extra homebound Lakeshore West trains following Blue Jays games on May 2, 5 - 8, 18, 27 - 29, and following the Beyonce concert on May 25.
There will also be an extra homebound Lakeshore East train following the Blue Jays game on May 18.

These trips will not appear in GO schedules as departure times will depend on when the game ends and passenger volumes. Be sure to check the departure board at Union Station and listen for announcements.

Changes to GO Service
Starting April 2, 2016, there will be changes to a number of GO Bus trips. These include new evening and weekend trips on select routes, seasonal reductions on some school routes, and adjustments to some route stops and times.
The arrival time at Union of one weekday midday eastbound Kitchener line train trip will also be adjusted.
GO Train Service
The schedule for the weekday eastbound 11 a.m. trip from Mount Pleasant will now show the arrival at Union Station to be six minutes later at 12 noon
to better reflect the actual arrival time. Times at all stops along the route will remain the same.
GO Bus Service
- Route 19A (Finch – Square One): new hourly weekday late-evening service and new hourly weekend service.
- Route 21C (Meadowvale – Union Express): new trip will depart at 5:20 p.m. and arrive at 6:25 p.m.
- Route 27F (Finch – Meadowvale): new hourly weekend service with stops at Meadowvale Business Park.
Weekend Route 47G will no longer stop at Yorkdale GO. Use new Route 19A weekend service from Square One GO for a faster connection to Yorkdale.
From York University, take TTC to Yorkdale.
Changes to some trips on routes 12, 16, 33, 38, 40, 46, 47, 48, 51, 52, 54,
61, 68, 71, and 90 to
better reflect actual travel times, with some earlier departures.
Service to Canada’s Wonderland begins on May 1.
Some trips that serve schools will be suspended for the spring/summer season due to typically lower ridership during this time.
