Here is the information we have to report at 22:07, July 24, 2008:

CLARKSON GO STATION:
The escalators serving the north and south parking lots are back in
service. The middle escalator is out of service. Please check again for 
updates. 


UNION STATION:
Escalator to platform 6/7 from the VIA departure level is 
presently out of service. Please check again for updates.

Escalators 2/3 and 3/4 are out of service.
As part of GO Transit’s long term plan to improve Union Station,
we are preparing to install a staircase which will provide direct access
from a new Bay West Teamway entrance.  In order to prepare for the
new entrance and staircase, we need to remove escalators 2/3 and 3/4.

For passengers requiring assistance, the elevator to Platform 2
is located along the southwest wall of the GO Concourse.  The elevator
to Platform 3A is located along the south wall of the GO Concourse.
The elevator to Platform 3B & 4A is located along the south wall of the
GO Concourse.

Escalator 4/5 is out of service.  However, the elevator to platform 4/5,
located in Air Canada Centre (ACC) blue route, is still operational.


WHITBY GO STATION:
The escalators at this station are out of service.  GO Transit will be 
removing two of the escalators at the Whitby GO Station (one from 
the north side near the station building, as well as the one accessing 
the platform) and replacing them with stairs.  These two locations are 
currently accessible by elevator for customers needing mobility 
assistance.  We hope to have this work completed by Labour Day,
September 1, 2008.

The escalator serving the south exit from the west tunnel will be 
repaired and should be back in service approximately six to eight weeks
after the repair has started.  This escalator will be replaced with stairs
when GO Transit installs an elevator in this location in late 2009.
