Starting September 16, service will be adjusted on the Barrie line due to multiple construction projects. These works are apart of the ongoing GO Expansion project, working to extend 2-way 15-minute service across the Barrie line.

September 16-18- Train Service Adjustments

On Monday Sept. 16 until the end of service on Wednesday, Sept. 18, trains will need to move slower in some areas. This is due to track work on the Barrie line over the September 14-15 weekend. As a result, some trains will be departing or arriving several minutes before or after the regular schedule.

September 21-22- Buses replace all train service between Barrie and Union Station

On Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22, GO buses will replace train service on the Barrie line while we perform important construction along the line. Buses will run between Barrie and Highway 407 Bus Terminal. If you are travelling to or from Downsview Park GO or Union Station, please connect with TTC.   

September 23- No GO train service at King City GO station

On Monday, Sept. 23, there will be no GO train service at King City GO for important rail and platform construction. For customers travelling to the station, please connect with local transit at Aurora GO or Rutherford GO.

September 23-24- Train service adjustments

Due to the construction that was performed over the weekend, some trains need to move slower in some areas to allow for the tracks to settle. As a result, some trains will be departing or arriving several minutes before or after the usual schedule.
