We're adding cycling amenities and building more parking at East Gwillimbury GO Station.
Starting Monday, August 19, we’re adding cycling amenities to your station. To carry out this work, there will be a temporary change to how you get on the GO. There will be a short closure of the sidewalk between the parking lot and the platform, south of the station building, while we complete underground work. The sidewalk will be closed for about two weeks.
We’re also continuing work on the remaining 115 new parking spaces coming to your station. We expect those to be ready for you in late September.

How You Will Benefit
We’re improving your station by installing a 16-space bike station. The bike station will become part of our reserved bike parking program. It will be located south of the station building and will offer you one more way to get on the GO.
These upgrades are some of the early works we are carrying out as part of GO Expansion, to enhance and maintain the accessibility of our existing stations. GO Expansion will increase the frequency and number of GO trains across the rail network, reduce congestion and connect a growing region with fast, reliable transit options to get you where you need to go.
