Kennedy GO Station Improvements

Construction is underway!

Work on the new Kennedy transit hub is underway. The hub will connect a future Kennedy Crosstown LRT Station, an improved Kennedy GO Station, and the  existing Kennedy TTC Station.

What's Changing

The north side of the Kennedy GO platform is closed through early 2019 as we build the new Kennedy Crosstown LRT station. Please board and exit your GO train at the accessible ramp or one of the cars south of there. Remember to also spread out along the platform.

How You Will Benefit

The Kennedy transit hub will give you seamless access to three modes of public transit at one location. By the end of 2021 our goal is to give you:

  • A new Kennedy GO Station building and station entrance on the east side of the tracks;
  • A new GO Transit Kiss & Ride (passenger pick up and drop off area);
  • A second track and platform connected with a pedestrian tunnel;
  • Covered platforms with snowmelt systems;
  • Improved accessibility.

The station will be built as part of the Eglinton Crosstown project.

How To Stay In The Know

Sign up for our email and text alerts, to stay in the know about the construction that will transform your station!

We will do our best to minimize the impact to you. Since construction can be disruptive, we will use the On the GO alerts to flag any changes to the way you get in and around your station.
