All major infrastructure work at the Kipling Transit Hub is complete.

As part of the GO Rail Expansion program, we have transformed Kipling GO into an efficient, modern transit hub, making it easier for you to access the GO station and services.

Kipling Transit Hub provides essential transit connections by integrating GO Transit, MiWay bus service, access to the TTC subway and bus in one convenient location.

Here are some quick facts about the new amenities at Kipling Transit Hub:

More Connections

  • New Kipling Bus Terminal (GO & MiWay) complete with access to MiWay bus service and GO bus service.
  • Transit hub connecting customers to GO Transit, MiWay, TTC subway, TTC buses and commuter parking.

Station Access

  • Enhanced station layout to improve bus, pedestrian and cyclist flow to and from the stations, with upgraded sidewalks, signs and a new signalized intersection at Acorn Avenue and Dundas Street West.
  • Renovated commuter parking lot northeast of the bus terminal with Passenger Pick Up and Drop Off (Kiss & Ride) and taxi areas.
  • A refresh of the GO station building with more space for customers to use, as well as a new ceiling, tiles, floor, skylight and glass walls overlooking the train platform.
  • Covered bike parking, open bike parking and bike lockers.

Platform Improvements

  • Upgrades to the GO train platform, including new accessible boarding features.

Enhanced Accessibility

  • A pedestrian bridge over the train tracks, complete with elevators to connect the new bus terminal to the GO train platform.
