Main parking lot to be reduced by approximately two rows

The main station parking lot will be reduced by approximately two rows of parking at the north end of the lot.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Durham Region owns a small strip of land along the northern edge of the Oshawa GO parking lot, south of Bloor Street West and west of Thornton Road South.
  • Durham Region will be using this land to widen Bloor Street.
  • This will result in the permanent loss of 81 parking spots starting this month.
  • Please be careful around the construction area and follow all directional signs.
  • There will still be more than 2,000 parking spots at Oshawa GO, including in the overflow lots.

Thank you for your patience as this work proceeds.

Please visit the Durham Region website for more information on the Bloor Street project.
