GO Transit operates train and bus service year-round on weekdays and weekends. Schedules may vary day-to-day, so be sure to check our schedules and plan your trip in advance! Kitchener Line Service Changes
Beginning November 23, 2025, weekend service on the Kitchener line will increase to 30-minute frequency in the afternoons and evenings between Union Station and Bramalea GO.
- This is an increase of 18 new weekend trips ─ doubling the frequency from hourly to 30-minute service.
For the first time, we’re also extending four weekend trips to serve Kitchener GO. Now Kitchener residents can plan weekend day trips to the big city while leaving the car at home.
- This is the first time we have introduced weekend service west of Mount Pleasant GO.
