The Toronto Caribbean Carnival returns this July to August, which culminates in a weekend-long celebration from August 3rd to 7th, 2023. Hop on board with GO Transit and immerse yourself in the vibrant festivities of the Toronto Caribbean Carnival! Get ready to experience the pulsating rhythms, electrifying colors, and infectious energy of Canada's largest celebration of Caribbean culture.

There are a variety of events showcasing Caribbean culture August 3rd through to August 7th and getting to them is a breeze with GO Transit. Our weekday group, and weekend passes will make your journey to this years Caribbean Carnival hassle-free! This year, leave the driving to us!

GO Transit even has a ticket to the fun for the main event. The Grand Parade! Lose yourself in the rhythm of soca, reggae, and calypso music, as vibrant floats and masqueraders in vibrant, and showstopping costumes take over the streets of Toronto. Let the infectious energy and lively atmosphere sweep you away, as you become part of the culture and celebration.

Special Service - Saturday August 5!

We’re adding special Stouffville, Milton, and Lakeshore West line service on Saturday, August 5 to provide more transit options to the Grand Parade!

Stoufville Line

  • Southbound trips will depart from Old Elm GO at 6:46 a.m. and 9:35 a.m., making all stops to Union Station.  
  • Northbound trips will depart Union Station at 5:42 p.m. and 9:44 p.m., making all stops to Old Elm GO.
  • There will also be one southbound trip from Old Elm at 7:03 p.m., making all stops to Union Station, and one northbound trip from Union Station at 8:13 a.m., making all stops to Old Elm.

Milton Line

  • Eastbound trips will depart Milton GO at 6:46 a.m. and 10:16 a.m., making all stops to Union Station.
  • Westbound trips will depart Union Station at 6:10 p.m. and 9:19 p.m., making all stops to Milton GO.
  • There will also be one eastbound trip from Milton GO at 7:25 p.m., making all stops to Union. Station, and one westbound trip from Union Station at 9:01 a.m., making all stops to Milton GO.

Lakeshore West Line

  • There will also be express GO trains serving Union Station, Exhibition GO, Port Credit, Oakville, and Burlington GO stations.

The Toronto Caribbean Carnival takes place at different venues in Toronto, transforming the City into a Caribbean paradise. The main events and parades are held in various locations throughout the city, creating a vibrant atmosphere that embraces the spirit of the Caribbean.

The main event, the Grand Parade takes place on Lakeshore Blvd West, just a short walk away from the Exhibition GO Station! So leave the driving to us, while you enjoy the journey!
