🎥 Where His Journey Began
Believed to have wandered down from somewhere north of the Barrie Line (rumour has it he followed the scent of honey straight to Allandale Waterfront GO Station), GO Bear has been spreading smiles across GO stations, platforms, buses, concerts, and sporting events since 1993.
He pops up when you least expect it—but one thing’s for sure: wherever GO Transit goes, GO Bear isn’t far behind. (He usually sits in the window seat, of course.)
What GO Bear Loves Most
GO Bear absolutely adores meeting passengers. Whether at Union Station, outside the ballpark on game day (Let’s GO Blue Jays!), or adventuring between the Hockey Hall of Fame and the CN Tower, he’s always ready for a selfie, a wave, or a big fuzzy high‑five.
For over 30 years he’s been part of our GO Transit family—and with new stations and expanded services on the horizon, GO Bear is more excited than ever. More trains, more buses, more riders to greet…the next chapter is looking unbear‑lievably fun.
