Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans ride for free for Warriors’ Day Parade 

On Saturday, August 16, veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members (Regular and Reserve) plus one companion can travel free on GO Transit and UP Express to the Warriors’ Day Parade at the CNE.

Veterans and CAF members without a valid ID are asked to wear identification (medals, uniform, etc.). Immediate family of deceased veterans may also ride free with proof of relation (e.g., service papers, or identification card).

Year-round, veterans and CAF members travel free on GO Transit with valid ID or by setting a Canadian Armed Forces fare type on their PRESTO card. Learn more at gotransit.com/CAF.
