Introducing Confederation GO Station!
We’re excited to announce the opening of Confederation GO station on the Lakeshore West line on October 27, 2025.
Located at the QEW and Centennial Parkway North, this station will provide customers in Hamilton with even more access to GO Transit service options, such as weekday and weekend trains between Union Station and Niagara Falls.
Confederation GO Station Amenities
- A fully accessible heated island platform, complete with mini-platform and canopies to protect customers from the weather while they wait for their train.
- A pedestrian tunnel and vestibule to make it easier for customers to get to their platform.
- Enhanced access, no matter how riders are getting to and from the station, thanks to a pick-up and drop-off zone with space for 15 vehicles, parking and direct pedestrian stair access from the platform to Centennial Parkway.
- There will be 148 new parking spots in addition to the 64 existing.
Service Information
Starting October 27, we’re adjusting service on the Lakeshore West line.
- All existing Lakeshore West trips serving Niagara Falls on weekdays and weekends will now stop at Confederation GO.
- We’re extending seven select trips to and from West Harbour GO on weekdays and weekends to serve Confederation GO.
- We’re also adjusting schedules to better reflect actual travel times.

Starting November 1, weekend service will increase on the Lakeshore West line to Niagara Falls.
- There will be two new weekend trips on the Lakeshore West line between Union Station and Niagara Falls, which will also stop along the way at Confederation GO. This means GO Transit will now be serving Niagara Falls GO with eight trips on both Saturday and Sunday.
- With these changes, Niagara Falls weekend service will no longer be different on Saturday and Sunday and will operate the same service level all weekend.
