Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest returns September 25 to October 17, 2026, with Bavarian food, live entertainment, family-friendly activities and festive traditions. 

Wilkommen Platz

From October 9 to 12, head to Willkommen Platz, when Downtown Kitchener transforms into a lively Bavarian village featuring a Biergarten, vendor markets and free admission. Located approximately a 10-minute walk from Kitchener GO Station, it’s a great choice for a day trip or weekend getaway. 

The festivities continue at Festhallen and event venues across Kitchener-Waterloo throughout Oktoberfest. Events and locations vary by date, so check the official event calendar and plan your trip before you travel. 

Please note that GO Train service to Kitchener will be unavailable on October 3–4, 2026. GO Bus replacements will be available to help keep you moving. Always check schedules before you travel.
