The sun is shining and the weather is warm — it’s a great time for a getaway to Niagara Falls! And now it’s even easier to skip the traffic and take GO Transit for your trip. We’ve added a third weekend round-trip and new weekday trains between Toronto and Niagara Falls, and we’ve lowered the cost of our weekend GO+WEGO combo tickets. Get ready for butterflies, ziplining, and all the fun on Clifton Hill. There’s no reason not to GO!

Weekday GO Trains to Niagara
More trips on the weekday GO Train service between Toronto and Niagara Falls! Great option for Niagara residents making a day trip into the city, or Torontonians looking for an overnight stay in Niagara.
Weekend GO Trains to Niagara
The GO Train out to Niagara just got even better with more service, at a better price. Together with Niagara Parks, the GO/WEGO Combo Passes offer round-trip travel on GO Transit along from Toronto to Niagara Falls, with local WEGO bus service to all of Niagara’s best hot spots – now starting at just $18 per person.
When the Niagara GO Train isn’t available, you can jump on the Lakeshore West GO Train to Burlington and transfer to GO Bus Route 12 to get to Niagara. It will drop you off at the Niagara Falls Bus Terminal, across the street from the Niagara Falls Train Station.
Please note:
- As of Saturday, June 24, 2023, seasonal increased weekend service on GO Bus Route 12 has returned until the long weekend in October, running every 30 minutes between Niagara Falls and Burlington.
- Starting Tuesday, September 5, 2023, the weekday 9:52 a.m. Niagara-bound train trip from Union Station will depart at 9:10 a.m. We’ve also adjusted weekday and weekend schedules to better reflect actual travel times. Check your schedule.
The Best Hot Spots in and Around Niagara
Once you get to Niagara, the best way to get to all the tourist destinations is by connecting to Niagara Park’s WEGO bus. If you have already purchased a GO+WEGO Travel Package, great news, your WEGO fare is included! Hop on & off all day, or weekend, long. Visit Niagara Park’s Butterfly Conservatory, Journey Behind the Falls, and White Water Walk to name a few.
Niagara-on-the-Lake
If you’re looking to use your WEGO bus service to go past the Falls, check out the Niagara-on-the-Lake Shuttle. Extends your access past the regular Green Line’s Floral Clock stop into the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Perfect for your weekend away to wine country and included in the weekend overnight stay.
