Starting April 27, the P1, P2, and P3 parking lots will reopen. The Pan- Am Centre GO parking is no longer available.

The opening date is dependent on weather conditions; updates will be provided as they become available.

Construction will continue near the bus loop, changing how you board GO bus routes 52 and 56. Check departure boards in the bus loop or station building, for bus platform information.

This phase of construction is focused on the widening and repaving of the main parking lot entrance to Unionville GO on YMCA Boulevard.

Here's what you need to know:  

• Approximately 200 parking spaces will reopen.
• The east overflow parking lot remains closed due to construction activities.
• The main access on YMCA Boulevard remains available.

• The Pan- Am Centre GO parking is no longer available.
• Please plan ahead and give yourself extra time at the station for parking.
• Follow all directional signage and use caution when moving around construction areas.
• This work schedule is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances and weather conditions.
• Updates will be provided as work progresses.

In addition to the ongoing work in the parking lot, the City of Markham is completing construction on YMCA Boulevard between the Unionville GO station main parking lot entrance and Kennedy Road.

Here's what you need to know:

• Two-way access on YMCA Boulevard will be available at all times.
• Parking may be available at Mount Joy GO, which is about a 20 minute drive away.
• Please plan ahead and give yourself extra time to get to the station.
• Further road closures are expected in spring 2026.
