Steam Whistle Brewing
Have a drink or two, and maybe a meal, at one of the most iconic buildings in downtown Toronto, the former steam locomotive repair facility for the Canadian Pacific Rail Company. The roundhouse is now home to Steam Whistle Brewing and a great place for a draft beer. As you walk through Roundhouse Park, take a look at the collection of trains from the past. Then head into the roundhouse and get comfy at the Biergarten, Steam Whistle Brewing’s restaurant that serves German-inspired fare and a selection of draft beers.
Get There With GO: Travel by GO bus or train to Union Station. Then walk west on Front St. and turn south down Simcoe St. to Roundhouse Park.

Red Tape Brewery
Visit this Indigenous-owned brewery in Toronto for a draft beer and some cans to take home. Red Tape Brewery also does “bespoke brewing”, where you can work with them to create your own beer for a special celebration. They’ll help you decide on the beer’s style, flavours, and presentation so you have a truly unique drink to serve or give to your guests. Ask for more details when you visit the brewery!
Get There With GO: Take the Lakeshore East line to Danforth GO Station and then walk south down Main St. The brewery is located at 159 Main St.
Town Brewery
Town Brewery was founded with a focus on community and they are proud to collaborate with like-minded charities, bands, and environmental groups on Community Brews, with a portion of the sales donated to a charity of the group’s choice. At Town Brewery, you’ll find lots of pale ales and IPAs with a couple of lagers and sours, as well. Take home a few different beers and see which you prefer!

Collective Arts Brewing
Creativity and craft brewing come together at Collective Arts Brewing, where limited edition art is featured on their labels. Collective Arts Brewing is focused on building a more equitable world and hopes to inspire others through their creation of diverse flavours and representation of diverse artists. Visit their taproom to pick up lagers, ales, porters, sours, and IPAs. They also sell Collective Arts Brewing merchandise such as clothing, hats, glassware, and artist prints.
Get There With GO: Take the Lakeshore West line to West Harbour GO Station. The brewery is located at 207 Burlington St. E. It’s a 20 minute walk via James St. N and Burlington St. E, or an 8 minute ride on the HSR.
