Toronto to Niagara Weekend GO Train Service

Niagara Weekend GO Train Service

As of Saturday, January 9, all GO train trips serving Niagara Falls will be suspended for the winter season. Existing Route 12 buses will continue to run. We expect to resume the weekend train service again in spring 2021.

Niagara Falls in the winter with snow

Whether it’s a family getaway to Niagara Falls for the weekend or a day trip with friends, grab your face coverings and go! We’ve got you covered with trains departing from Union Station in Toronto and stopping at Exhibition, Port Credit, Oakville, Burlington, Aldershot, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls.

This holiday season trains to and from Niagara will run on December 25 through 28, and January 1 through 3. WEGO bus connections in Niagara will not be available.

And remember, at GO Transit, Safety Never Stops. Wearing a face covering is mandatory while travelling on GO. For more information on how we're keeping you safe and how you can help, visit our webpage.

Alternatively, when the Niagara train isn’t available, you can jump on the Lakeshore West GO train to Burlington and transfer to GO bus Route 12 to get to Niagara. It will drop you off at the Niagara Falls Bus Terminal, across the street from the Niagara Falls GO/VIA Train Station.
