Holi welcomes spring in the most vibrant way. It also brings loved ones together in a riot of colours. A dash of gulaal —the shade of vermillion synonymous with Holi—across someone’s cheek can rekindle a connection or make a new one. Drinks like Thandai and Lassi help one cool down after the festivities.
