We are making important changes to Milton GO station.

The shelters on the bus platform are once again available. Thank you for your patience during this phase of construction.

A Portion of East Parking Lot Temporarily Closed

A portion of the east lot is temporarily closed for concrete, repaving and curb removal and installation.

Here’s what you need to know:

• 132 parking spaces in the east parking lot are temporarily closed.
• For additional parking, please use the open parking spaces in the east or west parking lots.
• Accessible parking is not impacted during this construction.
• There is no impact to station or platform access.
• The first phase of the parking lot closure is expected to be completed in April 2026.
• Please follow directional signage and use caution around construction areas.  

Platform Construction Begins April 27

On Monday, April 27, platform rehabilitation will begin on the east side of the platform, to modify and replace existing platform infrastructure to enhance safety and accessibility. During this construction, how you board your train will be affected.

The east side of the platform will be temporarily closed. Trains will be available for boarding at the west side of the platform.

Please note that not all trains doors will open upon arrival at Milton GO.

If you’re travelling to Milton GO:

From Union Station, please ensure you board the train at the accessibility ramp or west of it, towards York Street.

From another Milton line station, please ensure you board the train at the accessibility ramp or west of it.

You may need to move through the train to a coach where the doors will open. Listen for announcements from Customer Service Ambassador for instructions. 

Here’s what you need to know:

• During construction on the east side of the platform, please use the west side of the platform to board your train and remember that door restrictions will be in effect.
• Please remember to spread out along the platform and use all available doors to board your train.
• During this closure, some parking spaces, in the east lot, are temporarily closed for additional construction. This construction is expected to be completed in May 2026.
• Access to the station building and washrooms will be maintained.
• This phase of construction is expected to be complete in July 2026.
• Plan ahead and give yourself additional time for parking and boarding your train.
• Please follow directional signage and use caution around construction areas. 
• Date of closure may change due to unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions. 

Future phases to start Spring 2026

In Spring 2026, we will begin making more improvements around the station including:

• Resurfacing of the:
• Pick Up and Drop Off area
• Remaining section of the parking lot
• Train platform
• Upgrading the old platform shelters and lighting.

We will keep you updated on each phase of work as it happens.
