We are making important changes to Milton GO station.

Platform Construction Underway

Platform rehabilitation continues at Milton GO, on the east side of the platform, to modify and replace existing platform infrastructure to enhance safety and accessibility. Additionally, the new accessibility ramp is available for use on the west platform.

During this construction, how you board your train is affected. The east side of the platform is temporarily closed. Trains will be available for boarding at the west side of the platform. 

Please note that not all train doors will open upon arrival at Milton GO.

If you’re travelling to Milton GO:

From Union Station, please ensure you board the train at the accessibility ramp or east of it, towards Bay Street.

From another Milton line station, please ensure you board the train at the accessibility ramp or east of it.

You may need to move through the train to a coach where the doors will open. Listen for announcements from your Customer Service Ambassador for instructions. 

Here’s what you need to know:

• During construction on the east side of the platform, please use the west side of the platform to board your train and remember that door restrictions are in effect.  
• Please spread out along the platform and use all available doors to board your train. 
• Access to the station building and washrooms is maintained.
• This phase of construction is expected to be complete in Aug. 2026.
• Plan ahead and give yourself additional time for parking and boarding your train.
• Please follow directional signage and use caution around construction areas.

Temporary closure of pick-up and drop-off area

Starting Monday, Aug. 10, the pick-up and drop-off area will be temporarily closed.

Here’s what you need to know:

• The current pick-up and drop-off area will be temporarily closed due to construction.
• A temporary pick-up and drop-off area will be relocated to the southwest parking lot.
• Carpool, accessibility and reserved parking will be relocated to the northeast parking lot.
• Work is expected to be completed in Sept. 2026.
• Please follow all directional signage and use caution when moving around construction areas.
• Date of closure is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions.

Future phase

We will begin making more improvements around the station including:

• Upgrading the old platform shelters and lighting.
