Station Access

To access the Bay Concourse and other new connections:

  • Follow signs at Union Station.
  • If you are unsure, ask a station ambassador for assistance.
  • If you require accessible, barrier-free access to platforms, please use the York Concourse.

Elevator access:

  • There are elevators in the Bay Concourse for you to use to access train platforms 10/11.
  • The elevators to access the lower retail level and to get to the TTC are located at the north end of the Bay Concourse.
  • An elevator to get to the Scotiabank Arena entrance is located at the south end of the platform.
  • If you require accessible, barrier-free access to other train platforms, please use the York Concourse.
  • Signs to help you find accessible and barrier-free travel paths have been installed throughout Union Station to help you get where you need to go.

To access the TTC via the Bay Concourse:

  • Escalators and stairs are available to get to the retail level below the Bay Concourse.
  • Escalators and stairs are available to get to the retail level below the Bay Concourse.
  • Elevators are available at the north end of the Bay Concourse to get down to the retail level.
  • Signs are in place to help you get to the TTC entrance, which is located at the north end of the retail level.

To access the Union Station Bus Terminal (USBT):

  • Follow signs in the walkway on the east side of Bay Street (Bay East Teamway) to get to the Union Station Bus Terminal.
  • The entrance to the Union Station Bus Terminal from the south side of Bay Street is closed until later this summer due to construction in the area.
  • Elevators and escalator are available to get to L2 of the bus terminal.
  • You can still enter the Union Station Bus Terminal via the main entrance on Lake Shore Boulevard., just east of Bay Street.
  • Customers coming from Union Station can get to the bus terminal by heading to the Bay Concourse and accessing the Bay Street Bridge from the Scotiabank Arena exit. The Bay Street Bridge connects Scotiabank Arena and Union Station to the second floor of the Union Station Bus Terminal. This is an accessible path.
