Struggling to get a parking space at your station?
Parking at GO stations is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we know some station parking lots fill up fast.
We want to make sure you avoid the hassle and get to where you’re going on time.
Here are some ways you can beat the rush at our busier stations:
Durham College Oshawa GO
- If your parking lot is full, alternative parking is usually available at Pickering GO, which is a 25-minute drive west along Bloor/Victoria St.
- GO bus routes 52, 56, 88, 90, 92, and 96 serve Durham College Oshawa GO. Check routes and schedules.

A few important reminders to make it easier to travel on GO:
- Sign up for On the GO alerts to get important information about GO service changes and more. You can customize your alerts to get them when you need them most.
- Check your schedules and plan your trip. Schedules have changed for some of our services, so be sure to check your schedule in advance and plan your trip ahead of time.
Bringing a bike with you?
If you are cycling to your GO station, please remember bikes and e-bikes are not allowed onboard at certain times:
- Weekday trains arriving at Union Station between 6:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
- Weekday trains departing Union Station between 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Please use designated bike parking at your station if you’re travelling at these times.
If you’re bringing a bicycle on a GO train, use bike coaches if they are available or board at the Designated Bicycle Zones. A maximum of two bikes are allowed in each Designated Bicycle Zone. Find out more about travelling with your bike on GO.
Platform Safety: Our trains and platforms get busy during rush hour. Don’t be caught off guard by a train. Keep alert in crowded areas and stay well back from the yellow line on train platforms. Crossing train tracks is dangerous and illegal; only use the stairs or elevators to get to another platform
Onboard Safety: Your health and safety are central to everything we do. If you feel you may require medical or emergency assistance, and you’re able, please connect with a staff member who can arrange for assistance. You may also text HELP to 77777 and talk in real-time with a Customer Protective Services dispatcher.

- You can use PRESTO to pay your fare on GO Transit, UP Express, Brampton Transit, Burlington Transit, Durham Region Transit, Hamilton Street Railway, MiWay, Oakville Transit, TTC and York Region Transit.
- Get a digital PRESTO card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for $0 and simply tap your phone or watch pay your fare.
- You can also tap a credit or debit card directly on a PRESTO device to pay your fare. If you use Apple Pay and Google Pay, you can tap your phone or watch instead.
