St. Catharines GO: Road Closures due to St. Paul Bridge Construction 

Starting Wednesday, Jan. 8, customers will experience station access detours at St. Catharines GO due to road closures for St. Paul Bridge construction.  

Area road closures beginning Jan. 8, 2025: 

• Great Western St. from St. Paul St. W to GO/VIA station.
• Permanent closure – Ambrose St. From Great Western St. To Permilla St.  
• Permanent closure – Permilla St. Will be closed at Great Western St. 

GO train and bus service will continue to run during this construction. Here is what you need to know regarding station detour access: 

 If you are driving or carpooling to the station: 

• Westbound vehicle access to St. Paul St. W: 
• St. Paul St. W to Pelham Rd. 
• Pelham Rd. to Louth St. N. 
• Louth St. N to Ridley Rd. 
• Ridley Rd. to Station Access Rd. 
• Eastbound vehicle access to St. Paul St. West: 
• St. Paul St. W to Louth St. N. 
• Louth St. N to Ridley Rd. 
• Ridley Rd. to Station Access Rd. 

If you are taking GO bus or local transit to the station: 

• GO bus route 11 will operate during bridge construction. The bus stop at the intersection of St. Paul St. W and Louth St. will be available. 
• Niagara Transit Routes 303 and 403 will operate during bridge construction. Bus stops at the intersections of St. Paul St. W and Louth St. and St.Paul St. W and Pelham Rd. will be available.     

If you are walking to the station: 

• Westbound pedestrian access to St. Paul St. W: 
• St. Paul St. W to Dexter St.
• Dexter St. to Permilla St. 
• Permilla St. to GO station. 
• Eastbound pedestrian access to St. Paul St. West: 
• St. Paul St. W to Marigold St. 
• Marigold St. to Chetwood St. 
• Chetwood St. to Pelham Rd. 
• Pelham Rd. to Dexter St. 
• Dexter St. to Permilla Road 
• Permilla Road to GO station.
