Starting July 6, getting there is easier than ever with GO Transit’s year-round train service to Stratford seven days a week. With the Kitchener Line now extended to Stratford, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a comfortable journey to this beloved destination. The extended service to Stratford includes:

• Weekday rush‑hour trips between Stratford and Union Station
• Weekend service connecting Toronto, Brampton, Kitchener, and Stratford, with 1 eastbound and 1 westbound trip

Plan Before You Travel 

• Plan your trip before you travel and check schedules.
• Sign up for On the GO alerts for real-time updates, including delays, adjusted departures and service changes. There are no departure boards at Stratford GO.
• Save this link to your phone to access real-time service information anytime.

Paying Your Fare

• PRESTO is not available for Stratford customers at the start of service. We’re exploring ways to bring PRESTO to Stratford and will share updates when available.
• Paper tickets to or from Stratford cannot be purchased at Ticket Vending Machines.
• Buy e-tickets online up to seven days before your trip. Please do not purchase an e-ticket before June 30.
• Children 12 and under always ride free.
• Save with a $10 One-Day Weekend Pass or Weekday Group Pass.
• Veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members ride free with valid identification. Learn more.
• Your fare depends on your fare type and travel distance. Find your fare.

Alternative Travel Options 

Missed the last train? You can also travel between Stratford and Toronto with VIA Rail or FlixBus. Alternatively, travel to London and connect to Stratford using local transit.
