- Richmond Hill Construction
Running south from Bloomington GO to Union Station in the morning and north from Union Station to Bloomington GO in the afternoon, this line offers weekday rush-hour service between Richmond Hill and Toronto, along with every stop in between.
Whether you are traveling to work or visiting friends and family – we’re committed to getting you there on the Richmond Hill line.
To keep trains on track, we sometimes work overnight and on weekends when maintaining station and rail infrastructure.
We aim to provide you with plenty of notice when we need to adjust service for construction activity. Please plan your trip in advance.
Work may be adjusted, rescheduled, or extended due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Planned Service Adjustments
There are currently no planned service adjustments on the Richmond Hill line.
How to pay for your trip
If you are travelling with a PRESTO, credit or Interac debit card:
To ensure you are charged the correct fare, please tap your PRESTO, credit or Interac debit card at every point of your journey:
- Before boarding a train, tap on at the station.
- When exiting the train, tap off at your destination station, unless your card already has a default trip set for that journey.
- If you are transferring to a bus, tap on when you board and tap off when you exit.
This helps ensure your fare is calculated accurately throughout your trip.
If you’re travelling with an e- ticket:
- Ensure you have activated your ticket before boarding your train or bus.
- Data is required for purchasing and activating your e-ticket.
- Please note: GO e-tickets are not eligible for Ontario’s One Fare.
If you are travelling with a paper ticket:
- Keep your ticket available for inspection on trains and when boarding buses.
- Some local transit agencies will accept GO Transit tickets as a transfer, within a two-hour travel window. Learn more about these local transit partners and the One Fare program.
Connecting between GO and TTC? Save with One Fare.
Ontario’s One Fare applies when you pay your fare with a physical PRESTO card, PRESTO in Mobile Wallet, or with a contactless credit or debit card. It does not apply for cash fare or ticket products. You must use the same card throughout your entire trip.
